Weekly Update
 

The week of Dec. 7 - 13 was a great week.  We bagged for over 900 families.  We are about 2/3's done.  The baggers came from all walks of life, churches, scouts, individuals, and individual families.  Thanks for all the help.

Country Santa began its 2009 season on Monday, Nov. 23rd.  It was a big week for us, getting everything ready so we could start bagging on Saturday, Dec. 5th.  Thanks to Tom Bennett and Vern we had plenty of toys to start out with. Tom had been collecting since last January and Vern had been keeping everything organized. 

On Saturday, Dec. 5th we bagged for about 250 families.  We were about to run out of toys when the Military History Club of the Carolinas - District West showed up with a BIG TRUCK load of toys. 

Then later on that afternoon, Dacusville Middle School dropped by with $3900.00 toys they had just bought from donations from their school. More photos

 

 

Then on Sunday, we bagged for another 100 families.  Many thanks to all the bagging volunteers on both Saturday and Sunday.  A a special thanks to the Military Group and Dacusville Middle School.
