The official Country Santa season has ended for 2017. This year we delivered toys to over 3100 children or approx. 1300+ families. We had 187 individual vehicles that made delivers on Dec. 24th. Many of the delivers brought their family and friends, so the total count of delivers is unknown, but was a bunch of people.
We especially want to thank and the people who showed up on a rainy Dec. 23rd to help place the bags in the field. We had a great turn out. We moved over 2000 bags of toys in less than 2 hours. A big thank-you.
Then on Dec. 24th, many of the same people (who were soaking wet ) who helped on Dec. 23rd came back to help us retrieve the bags in the rain for the delivers.
We also want to thank everyone who helped by giving toys, delivering toys, the baggers, etc. Without their help we could have done it.
Just some tidbits: we use 37 rolls of duck tape and over 2300 trash bags.
